I quit FFXI a while back and sold my account to ige.com. Recently came back and i have no money because im a newb again. I decide to buy some gil, instead of using ige.com i try something new, gamepal.com. At first i was like cool, they are cheap, but i should have read up on them before i started making my purchase. I placed the order around 7:30 P.M., around 8:00 P.M. I went to live chat to complain about not getting my gil. The guy kind of blew me off and said he forwarded my phone number to the 'verification' team, and that in 1hr (2hrs tops) i would get a phone call. At 11:00 P.M. I go back to live chat to complain some more about not receiving the gil or the phone call. This is what i got:

eric hill: if i used ige i would have got this in like 15 minutes

eric hill: if i dont get it within the next 30 minutes or so im seriously gonna open a claim on paypal

Right after I threatened to file a claim they called me in the next 30 seconds. Funny huh? They ask me a couple of b/s questions that really didnt matter. Said they will deliver my gil ASAP. 30 minutes after the call i received the gil. The moral of this story is, do not use gamepal. Ive used IGE once or twice and they are VERY quick with gil selling, like within the hour. Alot of people like me might be looking for a deal since IGE is one of the more expensive sellers, dont skimp out. Go to IGE and pay the extra couple bucks and get the sure thing, dont go through all the hassle like I did.
