I was looking for the download website for AVG Free and I ran into this lot. Stupidly ordered their AGV, which they call Easi-AntiVirus, as well as Music Codec Pack and NetSpy Protector Option. The Easi-Virus is just a rip off of AVG Free and does not even work properly with Windows Secure. They charge $14.95 USD for this and then hit you for $ 28.88 USD. They have not got Music Codec Pack - surprise surprise - they scam this off MP3Downloading who are not accepting new members, so they send you some trash called Error Doctor which I never asked for.netSpyProtector is also scammed from another site.
I want my money back!
These police should be prosecuted for fraud. Be careful out there: where there are free downloads, you will always get con artists who are going to pass these off as their own products at a price.
I am sure I will have quite a tussle getting my money back, but will keep you posted!
