Dell has refused to honor a $150.00 rebate for a desktop computer. I had bought a desktop and a laptop within one month.
I mailed in the packing slip and the rebate form, to Dell. They emailed me back, a month later, stating that I had mailed in the wrong packing slip. The packing slip I had mailed in was for the printer. They also sent me a card through snail mail.
I replied to the email with the correct order number, and I sent in the paperwork with the correct number through snail mail, along with the card.
This has been since April. I have not heard from them, so I emailed customer service, nothing.
Finally, I emailed them again and told them that, "It was such a shame that Dell has good products, but a very inadequate Customer Service Department." They will not answer my emails at all.
To top it off, I'm having trouble with my laptop, and I cannot get any help from Customer Support. The last time I called, they routed me through 5 or 6 different people. After an hour, I was disconnected.
I am so frustrated with Dell. I have always wanted a Dell Computer. Now, I wish I would have stayed with HP.
