I was shopping the internet for good promotions and found discountmugs.com which I ordered 300 promotional pens. I ordered the pens on 3/3/06. After a month, I had not recieved the pens and got online to track them, which I found out they were never shipped. They offered an online customer service which I used and I was contacted to a sales representative named Jennifer. She told me my order was still in artwork. I was very upset that after a months time it was not even through artwork. She disconnected the link. I reconnected and she disconnected the link again. On my third try she would not even pick up the link. Obviously frustrated, I called customer service and complained. I was sent to the art department to then find out that the artwork had a problem from the beginning. NOBODY from this company ever contacted me to notify me of the problem. After straightening out the issue, Damien assured me they would be delivered in 5-7 days.
Of course, that was not the case!!! The items were finally shipped on 04/17/06 and I received them on 04/24/06 (7 days after shipped). It took almost two months to receive these items, not the guaranteed 5-7 days.
When I checked the pens, the printing was off center, way too small to read, crooked and very blurry. I was furious! I immediately called customer service and was told to send a sample pen. That was on 4/26/06. I have heard nothing!!!
Today is 5/24/06, a month later. Again, I called customer service and was put on hold for about a half hour. After calling the second time, I was told that they have no idea what is going on and that I would have to speak with Jessica who was the one that should have received my sample pen. Everytime I called Jessica, she was unavailable.
This experience has exhausted me! Everyone I have spoken to is rude, disrespectful and usually disconnects the phone or leaves me on hold. They do not care about my service or the service I would normally refer to my colleges.
Next time, I will know that just because it is a good deal, it will never be worth the hassle!
Do not ever buy from discount mugs and/or bel mugs! You will regret it!
