Complaint Description:
I bought my V2 Premier computer package off ShopNBC in 1/27/05 paid for by ShopNBC card. Customer number at Shop NBC is 0007720078. It came with the computer, printer, a DVD entertainment system and a digital camcorder.

1. When we first received it, we noticed the monitor was defective and tried to return for an exchange. It took over 2.5 months to get the replacement. That was because they wanted me to pay for the shipping back, never got back to me, and the main thing was they shipped me a replacement with the same problem.By the time I got the second rplace emt (which a gave a deposit of $100.00 to expedite the service and to this day a year and have not recieved by deposit back!!!).

2. When I finally got to try the computer out, a week or so into it, the computer would crash constantly till it was no longer able to be rebooted.

3. I was told we had three choices, the lifeline, the tech support and then then on site. I couldn't use lifeline since it kept crashing. I called tech support and was told it I had to ship it in and then they would look at it AFTER 14 DAYS. That was not what I was told when I bought it. I know becaue I watch my stocks from home every morning.

4. The camcorder had to be replaced within a week. It's not acceptable quality since you can't see the pictures taken, resolution is too low and and it have a magenta overcast over all it's picture even when I max out it's quality and reolution.

5. Because I could not use the computer, the inkjet printer cloggs up and I tried connecting it to my laptop from office to print but no amount of head cleaning is going to help now.

6. The DVD player dosn't seem to read certain tracts.

7. All these were communicated to Viscoma nd Shop NBC but my primary concern was the computer.

8. I spoke to Shop NBC and Viscom and no one seem to want to do anything. It was a back and forth soccer game. With each replay taking weeks. Months dragged on. About 7 months into the problems and over 200 hours of calls, I finally gave up and stopped bringing my office computer home and bought another desktop. That was when Mark at Viscom said, he was willing to replace it and not sure why they did not send the tech to my site. I asked for that right away and numerous times.

9. I have left many messages and Mark have not returned them.

10. Basically, I don't trust the merchandize. None of the components within the package is working. This is within 30 days of use. I was told becuse it was past 30 days Shop NBC won't do anything about it (becaue Viscom took 2.5 months to finally get a good monitor for me to test the computer). They have not replied to me after speaking to multiple CSR supervisors at the president office and to Viscom.

11. I called about 5 times between oct and nuvenber to contiue dealing with this - no reply. Send a letter in Jan, got a reply 67 days later. Now they say it's past their warrantee period.

12. I have an expensive paper weight. I have spent humdreds of hours holding, repeating to MANY diff. CSRs and writing many letter.

13. Mark's offer to replace the computer 7 months into the problem was too little too late.

14. Shop NBC says it was past 30 days. Viscome says they didn't sell it to us so they tell me to go to the other company. It's rediculous. I want to have this computer package returned and my credit card not charge. Allan
