This is a follow up to my earlier complaint: I figured if I tried calling Sales at TigerDirect instead of Customer (dis) Service I might have more luck and avoid 20 minute hold times and being disconnected, as had happened 3 times.
This worked on the first try - I managed to speak with a senior sales representative, and explained that Onrebate.com wasn't letting me process a $50. Rebate on their website that came with a product I'd bought. He was very helpful and waived the entire rebate hassle for me then and there. All the same, with what the hours of time I spent, and feeling ripped off, any satisfaction was certainly worth it.
I would recommend skipping Onrebate if you have issues, and try reaching Sales, which seems to be the most responsive department at Tiger.
