I have a web address with 1and1. For the past 4 months I have had a problem responding to emails. I have emailed and called this company. I have received a couple of emails stating the problem would be corrected immediately. Their customer service line always gives the message that they have too many calls and the try again later and then disconnects.
Today I called every number I could find for this company. I finally got through to a man by the name of Richard Winslow. He said there is nothing they can do to help me that all his systems are runniong perfectly and the problem must be elsewhere.
I asked to speak to his supervisor and he stated that it is impossible for me to speak to his supervisor. He said that all employees and offices above him do not speak with customers. He then terminated the call.
I worked in the communications industry for years and customer service is the backbone of the industry. I am appalled at the treatment I received. He actually acted as if it was an imposition for me to call.
I am changing my web host first thing tomorrow.
Do not use 1and1. You will regret it.
