I purchased a computer with DELL several years ago. I had it build with a DVD Writer plus a CD writer and it cost me $1400.00.
I started having problems with it locking up and I called the company and stayed on the phone night after night with TECH Support trying to resolve the problem. I purchased an additional warranty so I asked for a Technician to come out and repair my computer but they wouldn't send one out, instead they told me what to do on the phone, we stayed on the phone over 3 hours and couldn't resolve the problem.
Today my computer is just sitting up not working because I got tired of them walking me through procedures that wouldn't work and they refused to send a technician out to repair my computer.
It's been non workable for almost two years. I feel I spent $1400.00 for nothing and I thought DELL was a great company to purchase a computer from until NOW.
The tech's can't repair major problems on the phone and when you purchase an extended warranty it doesnt help because they don't abide by the contract. I would like to be reimbursed or receive a new computer, but thus far I can't get this one repair. I just stop calling because I wasn't getting anywhere.
