I purchased an Hp Pavilion Computer from R C Willey Home Products and sent in the rebate offer the same day of purchase, I carefully read all instructions included witht he packaging and followed all instructions.
Imagine my surprise when the letter came back unopened, witht he following on it "Return to sender, P O Box closed" When I got that, I called HP customer service [ I was still within the rebate timeline then]. The Man I talked to Jim Stevens was the name given. Said that was a mistake and gave me another PO Box number in Young America, Mn.
I thereupon resubmitted it, and the letter came back again with the same postal stamp that the po box was closed. Heck of a way to avoid paying, simply give the customer a bogus PO Box. I still have the rebate forms in the returned letter - unopened.
Ther is absolutely no way I will ever purchase anything from HP again, and have advised every person I know not to either, when at a store and seeing strangers looking at HP products, I do whatever I can to steer then to a competitor of HP
