To all you Senior Citizens out there that have been Scammed by the AOL SHOP DIRECT offer on the Apollo P 2250 Printer, with the $40.00 Rebate after purchase, BE AWARE, IT IS A SCAM. AOL and Hewlett Packard will make it so hard for you to claim your rebate, that it is virtually impossible to get your rebate. You can purchase the same product at any major store for HALF THE PRICE that AOL SHOP DIRECT ADVERTISES ON LINE. I have been scammed. I followed all the requirements for the Rebate, including re-checking on line, and they are still scamming us old folks. I have been a stock holder of AOL and Hewlett Packard for a long time, but I did not think that they were SCAMMERS. I now know better. I attempted to trace the progress of the rebate through AOL and Hewlett Packards customer service to no avail. They recently mailed a post card to me stating that I did not qualify for their rebate promotion. No reason given. Buyer beware.
