I upgraded my Dell computer last year with a new hard drive and a brand new DVD burner. Hurricanes hit here in Florida, and I did not get to use the new installations for a few months. When I finally did, I realized that DELL had sold me an outdated DVD burner... It will only burn to a RW format... Which you can't find ANYWHERE!!!
I've made numerous complaints and paid 90% of the bill and finally got frustrated and refused to pay them the remaining $30 on the bill. They turned it over to a collection agency (ICS) who then started calling me at home at 6:30 A.M. ON A SUNDAY (which is pure harassment!!!) and then each and every day after that. I finally had my phone number changed to a private number. I have sent Certified, Return Receipt letters numerous times to Dell and ICS and still have gotten nowhere. I even had an argument with one of thier "techs" online and I copied that whole conversation as well.
This months bill is now $60, and again, I AM NOT PAYING IT!!! My next step is the BBB in Round Rock, Texas and the Attorney Generals office as well. If anyone out there reading this can assist me, I welcome it thoroughly.
