DVD Burner Cannot Burn DVD-R Media and No Replacement Sent

I purchased a Dell Dimension 8200 desktop computer on 12-31-01 and in the computer i got a dvd burner. The burner was suppose to burn dvd rw media and dvd r media. The burner does not burn the dvd r media. It was a misprint and a false advertisement.

I have been contacting dell for 8 months now and I still don't have a new drive. All they do is transfer you to hundreds of different people. They have a new dvd rw drive that works great but they said it is not there problem and they wont send me one.

I will never deal with Dell again. If you are looking to buy a dell DONT gat anyother pc but dell.
