Focusfreeimaging.com sells electronics, mostly digital cameras. I called to place an order for a camera. After telling the sales person I wasn't interested in purchasing any accessories for my camera we got disconnected.
I called back and reached the same sales person I again asked to order the camera. He then told me that specific model was out of stock. I had some suspicions so I had my husband call. He asked to order the same camera.
They asked him how many he needed. He told him he only needed one, the sales man said o.K. No problem, what accessories would you like to purchase with the camera. My husband said he didn't need anything but the camera. The sales man argued that he would need a battery and many other things.
When my husband told him he wasn't interested he was hung up on. My husband called back and spoke with another sales rep and asked for the same camera, only this time when they asked him what accessories he wanted with it my husband said he wanted a battery, a charger and a memory card. The sales rep then said o.K. Great I just need the name on your credit card please. My husband then said are you sure you have all this stuff in stock? The sales rep said yes we have plenty.
My husband told him he was full of crap because 5 minutes earlier he was told the camera was out of stock. I called back to speak with a manager and the person who answered the phone told me he was the manager. He was very unprofessional and told me I could buy a camera with out accessories if I wanted. After arguing with him for an hour over the phone I finally called again to order the camera.
Only after threatening to get a lawyer were they willing to sell me a camera without accessories but I was no longer interested in giving my business to these scam artists so I ordered my camera from someone else. They had their cameras discounted assuming everyone would buy accessories.
Do not try to order anything from these unprofessional people who put on their website that customer service and satisfaction is guaranteed.
