Two $150 rebates for a laptop were rejected. Their reason was that I needed to send in receipts for the valid purchase dates, but the receipts CLEARLY had the correct dates of purchase on them and were sent in well within the allotted time. The fact they did this with two rebates on the same order shows they are trying tactics to delay issuing the rebates. I sent them in 12/20/04 and received the rejection letters in mid-February '05. I re-sent them in as stated but still have not received anything. I've tried to call the rebate number but after being dropped twice after 20 minutes or so online I gave up. Best Buy clearly wants to make it as difficult as possible to claim their rebates. This is the LAST time I will ever purchase anything from Best Buy, which is a shame as they have always been the first I've turned to and have spent several thousand with them each year.
