I registered for the service around Sept. 04 to see if I can save money instead of Time Warners Road Runner service. After a week I was unimpressed with NETZERO "high speed" and called to cancel. I did not have any funds going into my bank account since so I was unaware they were still attempting to charge me after my cancelation. I am currently serving in Iraq and have been here or in a hotel since mid December so I have not had access to a personal comp to even use the service.in Feb I made a deposit to the bank they had on file and noticed they charged me about $45.

I called again, upset that they are still charging me for service, I got a "confirmation" number this time and left it at that. The following month, 17 Mar, they charge me yet again. I contacted my bank, Bank of America, and they were happy to assist since they are familiar with the devious fraudulent charges Netzero does and has had many members in the same situation with them. I told them about the current charge as well as the $45 in Feb and they are returning the money to my account.

If Netzero had finally canceled my account for the second time, they could have gotten away with an extra $45! Too bad they are too greedy though and continued with the fraudulent charges.
