I called Yahoo's customer service on January 22nd to cancel my Merchant Solutions account. The customer service rep stated it would be cancelled. That's all she told me. Today, Jan 26th my bank shows that they took out another month's fees of 39.95 and my account hadn't been cancelled by Yahoo.com. I am changing hosts due to poor customer service, lack of information and help, and other service issues since signing up with them. I called today and talked to Veneshia, and she transferred me to Brian. Brian is in the cancellation department.
First, it isn't my fault if their customer service didn't cancel my account the first time I called. Secondly, he says my billing date was 1/20 and I am not due a refund for the 39.95 billing for 1/20 through 2/20! I have a merchant account and I know it takes two days for the billing to go through, then why does my bank show the billing as the 25th? My issue is that I called and cancelled, there was a record I called on the 22nd but I was not told anything about the billing date, which no one gave me the information needed for me to access my billing date, I was just told today that that was my responsibility, again, the reason I am changing because they never reply to email questions to customer support and customer support when called doesn't provide adequate information. Also, why should I pay for a WHOLE MONTH of service even if my service is discontinued two days after cancelling?
