I fell for it. I saw how you could receive a free sample of Enzyte from Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals television commercials for Enzyte, I went to their website (www.enzyte.com) and placed my order.
I received my free sample and a month later Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals took $70 from me. $70 I never gave authorization for. $70 they DID NOT have the right to take.
When I called customer service I was told that I had been enrolled into Managed Care Direct. Again, I had never ok'd that.
The first person I talk with only repeated the same phrase over and over not assisting me in anyway. Said that I was stuck with the $70 charge. I asked to speak to someone who was higher up then he was, like a supervisor. He said he had to enter into my record our conversation and he read back what he had typed which was wrong, not what I had said. He became upset when I asked him to change it.
I asked to return the unopened bottels and was told NO.
I was transfered to Alisia who told me that it was my fault and she was sorry that I made a mistake but again, it was my fault. I told her I had not made a mistake and that I never gave authorization to have the $70 taken from my account and she again said it was my fault.
I asked if Berkeley would make the situation right and she said NO. I asked again if Berkeley could make it right and she again said NO. Said it was my fault. Said that it was ok for them to take the money that I had ok'd them to do so. I did not.
I told her that I would report her company and she told me that there is nothing that anybody could do to help me.
I asked to speak to someone above her and she told me that she would not let me and that there was no one higher then her to talk to or to help me. She then told me to have a great day.
