AVOID Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals.
I want you to know the company's name, Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals, and that they run a great scam. The products they sell include Altovis, Avlimil, Enzyte, Ogoplex, Rogisen and Ovicid.
Before I tell you my story, I did a quick search on the web to give you their URL. The first 2 links returned from my search on "avlimil berkeley" led straight to this site so I know I am not alone.
The Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals URL at http://www.berkeleypremiumnutraceuticals.com / is their web site and it even has the NERVE to advertise near the top, "A Name You Can Trust" and "Trusted. For Life" which is not at all true!
Similar to many other people, I visited the Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals site to place a 30 day "Free Trial Order". I was ordering Avlimil but it doesn't matter which "nutraceutical" you choose to order. Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals will do the exact same scam. They charge you $4.50 for shipping on the 30 day "Free Trial Order" which is how Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals gets your credit card information. After I paid for the shipping, their online web system proceeded through a number of screens which resulted in my UNAUTHORIZED enrollment into an auto charge system.in addition, Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals sent and charged me for a 3 month supply even though I specifically chose the 30 day "Free Trial Order" ONLY.
When I received my most recent unauthorized shipment from Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals, I called the company requesting they refund me the money they took again without my permission. They refused a refund; they refused to acknowledge their deception AND they had the nerve to offer me two free products in lieu of a refund. Oh, Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals also made it clear to me that their system had been notated to show that I refused their offer of 2 other products in exchange for my trouble.
I have a copy of my 30 day "Free Trial Order" receipt from Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals that I saved when placing the online order. I now need to figure out where I can send my certified mail with a registered receipt requesting a full refund. Apparently, the addresses that Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals associate with their company are not valid.
In the first link returned in my search that lead me to this web site, http://usacomplaints.com/reports/ripoff87788.htm, you can read how one woman, Diane, experienced problems with trying to send the product back to Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals. Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals sends their product in such a way that makes it UNRETURNABLE. Because of this, the post office has no choice but to put it in the garbage. The company can then easily state that you received the product.
I don't expect they will refund me. But, I intend to let everyone I know that they are doing BAD BUSINESS! I will elevate this as high as I can so that the public is aware of Berkeley Premium Nutraceuticals and their deceptions.
