I was a RN in the above hospital for 32 years, retired as 12/31/10. I received my uniform allowance yearly, normally after my anniversary which was 1/10. $ 150. When I got my final check on 1/13, I noticed that they did not pay the uniform allowance. From January until March this year, I had gone through the president-Dr. Herbert Pardes and his secretary, no response, also with the labor relation of the hospital and my union, payroll denied my case, reason was that I had to work pass my anniversary date to get it. No proof was given, I had a weak union, did not try hard to help. I just found it was not fair because I used to get this pay in December, few years back, they changed to January for no reason, if they did not change, I would get it in December, then I would not have to complain. Please let me know how can I get help. Thanks Grace.
