1st Issue: According to their website, "Team packages ship 7-10 days after payment is received. Delivery time is 2 weeks." This is the main reason why we chose this company to make our basketball uniform, so we can get it asap. We paid them 6 Feb then I followed up with them 24 Feb. I was told that they will ship it that same day. Uniform didn't ship out until 26 Feb. We received the uniform 1 Mar; almost 4 weeks after payment was made.
2nd Issue: They misspelled the team name on the uniform. According to their website, "All orders are reviewed for accuracy before payment is processed. You will be contacted if additional team details are needed." I even called several times to make sure that they have the correct team name, the correct team name is even reflected on the invoice that they gave me. On 1 Mar I called American Team Uniform, 248-299-1640, to inform them about this issue. I spoke to a guy (whose name I can't remember), he said he's the owner, and this is what he told me, "... Don't worry about it, no one will noticed..." He told me that I have 2 options. First option, they will give us 25% off on our next uniform purchase&I mean, the nerves of this guy... What made him think that we'll do business with them again after this horrible experience. Second option, we have to send the uniform back and they will fix it. This option would have work but our team plays Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights. There's just not enough time to do that. Besides, how are they going to fix it without damaging the uniform. I'm pretty sure the uniform will come back to us looking awful, based from the way they conduct their business. So, I asked them if they can just send us jerseys with the correct name on it, and as soon as we get that, we'll return the misspelled uniform&American Team Uniform gave me a resounding... NO!!!
Our team is all active duty military, we are stationed at Camp Pendleton, Ca. Most of us just got back from Afghanistan and Iraq. It's just horrible how this company carry the name "American" on their company name and treats people like us this way.
