About a year and a half ago, I ordered hair extensions through Salon Innovations SI. My original plan was to buy the extensions and have Salon Innovations put them in. (I had a wedding that I was going to and wanted to have them for this special occasion.) When I purchased the extensions, I was told that they would have to be ordered and that they would be at the shop in about two weeks.
Unfortunately, I ended up not getting the extensions until two months later. Why? Well, I first got a call saying the extensions were held-up in customs. Then I tried to reach Vonda several times to find out when they were coming in, I did not receive a return call. When I finally picked up the extensions, I decided to not have Vonda put them in. Up to this point, she did not seem very professional.
In spite this, I was still not prepared to hear what the salon that I went to for the hair application said to me.
"We could take your money." they said.
"However, we do not feel right putting these in. This hair is of extremely poor quality." "We advise you to go back to where you purchased this and see what they can do."
The new salon was very thorough and showed me what was wrong with the extensions. Furthermore, they had nothing to gain by telling me to go back to Salon Innovations — they were losing the money that they would have made putting them in for me.
Once again, I tried to call Salon Innovations SI; once again, no return call.
Finally, I sent the product back certified mail with instructions to call me.
Guess what — no return call.
At the present time, she has my $425 and my hair extensions. Furthermore, the business is closed! If anyone knows if they have re-opened anywhere, please keep me posted! I have sent several e-mails to the salon, and no return e-mail either.
