After extensively talking with a salon in lethbridge alberta that does human hair extensions called great lengths i decided to have them done in my hair. I was suppose to have thicker longer natural looking hair.
Well 4and 1/2 hours later I had my ner hair look. The hair looked a little frizzy and not at all real, within one week it was a brutal mess and they were comming out with my own hair attatched I had bald spots and sores on my head, the salon charged me $850.00 for the hair extensions and wanted more money to take them out.
I traveled to calgary to have them removed. I went one year after that and tried a different kind of extensions at a salon in lethbridge called illusions, the girl there was awesome and made me realize that hair extensions can be fabulous and damage free if the person doing them is top notch, and the way they are done is healthy for the hair.
Since I have had my beautiful new hair done I have read online and spoke to other women and men who have had great lengths hair extensions in their hair and it has ruined their own hair. People beware of this kind of hair extension, and unqualified people who do them.
