Isigned on for a "trial Offer" which stated that if I was unhappy with the acai pills that were sent I could return the unused portion and my credit card would not be charged. I took one pill and it made me sick. I returned the remaining pills within 14 days from the date on the packing slip through UPS and I was still charged.
When I called the company to ask why they charged me, they told me the refund was to be only on unopened bottles. I told them to pleas send me that paperwork stating that. They did - but it was not the same as the paperwork I had gotten with my order which clearly stated "Refunds will be given on unopened units only; Exceptions will be made on trial offers."
After reading this to the Customer Service Rep. She again told me refunds would only be given on unopened products, and furthermore she did not show in her records that I had called to cancel the order. I told her as stated on my terms, "Contact our customer service Department by email at [email protected]" which I had done and had the email. She said that they do not have email and I would have had to call.
Since she refused to let me speak to a supervisor I am now out 49.95 for the trial offer, plus 4.95 S&H, on top of the $4 return charge from UPS. And They have the 29 pills that I returned. Complete scam!
