Scammed me on health insurance on 12/12/08

I too have just been scammed by these people. There is something you can do.

I called the State of Ga Consumer Affairs Office to file a complaint. They instructed me to contact the Ga Insurance Commissioners Office, which I did,
They said that because the company was out of Florida I needed to contact the Florida Agencies. But the State of Georgia would make note of the compaint.

I contacted the Governors Office of Consumer Affairs at 850-488-2221, and spoke with a representative who is helping me to file a formal complaint. They will show you how too. Note there are other complaints on file, but not many so we all need to slam them to get these guys shut down. This dept. Advised me to next contact the Governors office of Financial Affairs at 800-342-2762. They were formally called the Insurance Commission. I was told by a man named Lewis that none of the companies or people I had dealt with Mr. Daniel Cintron PPONext 813-403-7988 or Mr. Matt Brooks 321-296-6758 they can both be reached also at 877-446-8700 ext 117 and 125 respectively are licensed to sell insurance in the state of FL nor in the state of Georgia, even though they both claimed to have licenses and Mr. Brooks even went so far to claim he was license to sell nationwide.

Lewis informed me their department really only could help with Licensed companies and individuals. But that the state of Florida and enacted a Statute in 2005 to stop these so called health plans from presenting their programs as insurances after many complaints. They now must register with his department and he doesn't show any of these companies have done so.

He had asked me to send the same documentation to the following address for further investigation Dept. Of Financial Services, Medical Discount Program Unit, 200 Gaines St. Tallahassee, FL 32399. I don't know exactly what they will be able to do for us, but I believe the more they hear from the more action we may recieve.
I asked Lewis once he noted my complaint for non registeration what would the state do and he said they would issue a Cease and Decease Order but unfortunately not much more.

Now to the good stuff, I called 411 information to see I could get a local phone number for this company in Coconut Creek/Ft. Lauderdale Fl, these 2 towns are just suburbs of each and they use both addresses. The Ft. Lauderdale address is 1111SW21st Ave ste 23, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl 33312. Anyway I got a direct #954-970-0393. So I called it yesterday and a switchboard operator asked me why I was calling and I told her I was a new member and needed to speak to someone about how to use my new plan. Guess what she immediately forwarded me to the non existant Premier Member Services Dept. I hung up and called back and I was tryingto tell her I needed to speak to someone else but she didn't listen and sent me there anyway. So I called back and luckily she must have been busy fielding other calls and I went to a recording that asked me if I knew my parties extension I could dial it now. This is what I got - Ron Warner or Wurner dial 2, no title listed on his voice mail I left my name and number no other message, Lou Leo dial 5 Sales and Marketing Manager left name and number no message, Rita Warner or Wurner dial 6 no title left name and number, John Schwartz dial 8 Sales Manager left name and number, Wendy Gold dial 7. After this I called back to leave message for Ms. Gold but dangit the old switchboard operator got to me first. She wanted to know my name and member ID, I told her I had no member ID gave her my real name and told her it was a personal matter. She put me on hold for some time and came back to tell me she was not available I could leave my name and number with her and she would have her call me back. No way was I giving up this was the closest I had been to talking to a live person in weeks. So I asked her if she could put me through to leave a voice mail message for Ms. Gold. She put me back on hold and shortly after I was suprised to have Ms. Wendy Gold answer her phone. Now what do I do I knew as soon as she found out what really wanted a Refund she would immediately hang up on me or send me to another non existent dept. So I used my name but pretended to be someone looking to do business with her company, before I got caught, I found out that she is the SR VP of this so called companay and she says that all these other companies we are dealing with PPONext Good Heath, etc are vendors of hers.

When I got caught she was livied, she jumped all over me about me fraudulant getting to her, that a laugh coming from her, and she found me in her computer and started telling me that my phone calls to everyone over the past few days were returned according to her employees records, and I was trying and about to get her employee fired. I told her if there was such a report and her employee lied on it she did need to be fired and I could care less. I told her if I had my way they would all go to jail. I then told her I would drop this matter for the total I had paid to be refunded to me $239.35, and would not pursue this with the appropriate legal parties to stop her scam.

So folks that's where I currently am with CHBA, NBC Health, PPONEXT etc..

I also have been given from the FL Dept of Financial Services dept a web site to the FBI if you had this whole nightmare start with an internet inquirylooking for health insurance and were then solicited by phone, The web address is www.ic3. Gov. Go to it guys lets get these people.

Oh and guess who called me this morning another one of the phone solicitors to sell me health INSURANCE. He hung up real fast.

Sorry this is so long, but I cannot let someone steal my money and contunue to steal other.
