Beware to all Golds Gym members in Omaha and Lincoln, NE. The manager, Coby Tisdale, is a sexual predator. He was removed from his last job and settled out of court for sexual harrasment. He was then hired back by CBPT to come run the Nebraska market. (This came straight from his mouth) The NE market was the best market in CBPT in terms of sales for over 6 months, and the only market to not have huge amounts of customer service complaints. Many people were actually happy with the services provided. That is a result from the good management locally staffed in the clubs. Now the old system is back in there and they are there to rip people off.

CBPT is failing. Steve Dow, the main owner realized this and abandoned ship. This left Drew Marsh, Matt Yellon, and Justin Fouse. Fouse ran his part into the ground and now is a traveling salesman for the company. Yellon is deep into drugs and is in the process of running his part into the ground. Drew Marsh however, bought shares into Golds Gym from Joel Potter, the owner or Golds. He brought in Coby Tisdale. Cobys first meeting, he had his hands all over a woman in her 40's and in his 2nd meeting, with a girl I know, he asked her on a date, asked her if she was happy with her boyfriend, and gave her his #. She said, "He had no boundaries, has diarrhea of the mouth, and made me feel extremely uncomfotable."
He tries to use car sales tactics to lock people in to 1 year contracts. He doesnt know any of the trainers and cannot give these new members the help they need after they are locked into contracts. 1 year is a good amount of time to turn a life around, but not when the people are pressured into big amounts of money when they dont get the help they need.
He then fired or demoted most of the staff that made the district run so well. He then hired and interviewed people with no certifications or degrees in the fitness field.
For Employees: CBPT makes the job look glamorous. Once you get extremely good at selling you have a chance to move up to a District Manager position, your salary may go up, but u will make a lot less money. The best DM was Lance Eberly and he was on top of the company for over 6 months, then had 2 sub par months when they took all 5 of his GM's and moved them to DM's. He was then demoted. For any of you thinking about working for these guys, there is no future with the company.
I know one trainer who is owed over $700 and one manager owed $800. They will do whatever they can to short u money then make u fight for it, usually to no avail.
Drew Marsh, Coby Tisdale, and the rest of these guys are all crooked. As an ex-manager, Ive heard many horror stories about these guys. Coby straight up said Drew Marsh was a sake and a bad person. They are all liars, thieves, sexual predators and drug addicts
They could care less about the well being of their clients and employees. Something needs to be done soon. Whether that be under legal ramifications, or they straight up fail.
