In August of I received a fax that advertised HEALTH insurance. It specifically states that this was "NOT DISCOUNT HEALTHCARE". We signed up because we felt the price was fair and they reassured it was legitimate because AIG was the underwriter.
We thankfully have not had to use the insurance till now. When I tried to call the company to ask a question, the voice said "this office is closed"
I tried the other numbers that I had been given and only was able to talk to one person, who after informing me that it was after all a dicounted healthcare, gave me more numbers to call because she didn't know which company had actually "BOUGHT" our account. Again, I only got answering machines and instructed to leave messages. NONE have been returned.
As of this present date in June this company has taken out $3015.
This is really disappointing because I thought my family was covered all this time.
