Buyer Beware: Before you get into an ambulance, get a written estimate of cost. My ambulance trip for a non-emergency matter was $889.89 (20 mile trip one-way), I could have flown there for that amount!
Be sure to have them sign a sheet accepting your insurance coverage as full payment of their bill. Otherwise, take a cab or pay someone $100.
