Before I placed my order for Think and Lose I read and reread the web page information. Several places it states that the trial period is free for 30 days. The 30 days does not begin until you receive the product. No charges to your account for the first 30 days. This was mentioned several times. I placed my order on 02/23/08 and received it on 01/31/08. I was under the impression that I had the full 30 day trial before my account would be billed. Silly me to believe what I read. I didn't lose any weight with the program, in fact I found myself wanting to eat more and craving carbs and sweets. I tried it for a full three weeks to be fair. On 02/22 I called customer service for return instructions and was told that my account would be billed on 02/24. I told the customer service rep. That couldn't be right. I never received my order until 01/31 and the information said I had a full 30 days from when I received it. He told me I was wrong. The 30 days starts the day the order is placed. Well, why don't they just come right out and tell the truth to begin with? Why advertise that we have 30 days when in fact we only have about 21? What is wrong with just telling the truth? I asked for a supervisor - who it turned out was too busy, but would call me within 24 hours - that did not happen. On 02/25 my account was billed. Needless to say I am angry and feel very ripped off. Again I called to complain and ask for an immediate refund and ask why they accessed my funds early and was told that the 30 days would be up soon and they still hadn't received the order back so they went ahead and took my money. It didn't matter that they took my money six days too early. The supervisor was rude and told me I would get my money back when they received my order back. When I asked how long after they received my order would my money land in my account I was told 3 to 5 days. Well, it certainly didn't take them 3 to 5 days to access my money. When I objected the Supervisor once again became very rude and didn't seem to get my point at all. They have the use of my money for 7 days without my permission. I was acting according to the original agreement of 30 days. They were doing nothing but scamming me. The agreement was that I had 30 days to try the product before I had to pay. I was returning the product well before the 30 days. They forgot all about the 30 day agreement and changed it to 21 days. How convenient for them. They changed the rules in the middle of the game. Very dishonest and difficult to work with. Not at all customer friendly.
