I had heard a radio progam back on June 11,06. The herbal company sounded good, so I used the email they gave to send a note to the manager/owner of SageAdvice.com I asked for advice on what kinds of remedies might be benificial for me, and asked about the combined kits of herbal remedies. The manager got my number by cross reference with my email address. When we talked she stirred me towards buying three kits. She never once told me it would be cheaper to buy the four oz bottles separetely. Also, when my kits arrived, two items were missing from one of the packages. One of them does not even exist on the web site.
I was shocked to find out my rather large order would be sent again and again. I could not cancel by a certified letter. (that is how they do it!) in time, because my package arrived on the 19th of June. And the invoice stated I had to cancel by the 14th.
I tried to get some help from the manager via email. We went back and forth about these issues, but the woman was very ridgid and then abusive and threatening. She made false claims to try and frighten me.
I have made a formal complain to the BBB of ct, the Att. General, and i am fighting this with the aid of my credit card company.
It was gratifing to see others have been dupped too because you can feel very alone and foolish. Not that i am glad others have suffered by this company, but now. Hopefully something can be done by the way they work. Their herbs are not bad, but over priced. I found out that I was dupped nearly 98.00 by these people. The last word from the manager was. We are boarding a plane. Sorry. Nice way to treat your customers.
I am amazed at the rebuttals. So the manager believes everyone who complains is emotionally unsound? ARe we all overly aggressive and demanding? Must we just roll over and let these people continue to take advantage of us? I say no! By the way, this company has had 32 complaints in 36 months to the BBB. Ok so I know this does not often mean anything here but in most cases, these people refuse to even call back the BBB.
Stay away from them! I have contacted the radio stations who have allowed them to be on a show. I also saw a survey taken in the Westfield area and guess what, out of a rating of minus to 10; this company gets a 1.5 and over 20 people voted!
Get real. Clean up your act. Your customers deserve better from you, Sunrise Herbal
