I was contacted by email that I orginally sent to the owner of Sunrise Herbal Company. She asked me to send a phone number, so she could discuss what i might wish to order. No where in the emails did it say she ran an automatic ordering company. The owner called me by finding my number on line.
I made a purchase of several kits, resulting in a rather large sum of money. At no time ever. Did she inform me that this large order would result in another order over and over again. Unless i sent a certified letter before the 15th of the next month.
When my order arrived, in small print it stated I needed to send a certified letter to stop the next shipment by the 14th of June. Mind you, I ordered the product on June 11th. There was not time to stop this next reoccuring order. I tried to get the ownwer to compromise with me, but she became very angry and beligerant, even going so far as to threaten me with fraud.
I thought her manner of dealing with a customer rather unusual, especially since I have been a business woman for more than 20 years. Here is what I found on the Better Business Bureau of Ct.
Please take heed! I am not knocking her product, which is rather nice, but never have I been so shocked by a sales tactic, especially from someone who is selling a product to help others feel better.
