After ordering this via phone - (my stupidity!) I went online to find out more about the company. Couldn't find the website, it told me the website was restricted. But did find the "rip-off" site immediately! I took a positive attitute and thought just maybe that the issues stated were individual events, not representative of the company. Boy was I wrong! I tried to call the 800 #, usually got a recording stating business hours were... Then tried to e-mail, no response. I never received the 2 confirmation e-mails they said I was to receive - that should have bee a red flag, but again trying to be positive and believe a company would operate honestly. (my stupidity again) The "free" order was processed on 8/8/05 and my acct. Charged the $4.87. I was shipped my "auto ship" and charged $44.90 on 9/7/05. I then e-mailed the company, no response. I looked online at my account today - 9/13/05 (after the e-mail was sent a few days ago) and I had another $24 charge to my account!!!
Guess they got pissy when I e-mailed to cancel. I did actually talk with someone today by the name of Juliann (if that is even her real name) She said that the $24 was for the online access and was agreed upon in "terms & conditions" and had to be cancelled online. Only then did she actually give me my login name and password to get online!!! Went online and hopefully cancelled the $24/mo. Membership. I also cancelled the auto-ship for the pills through Juliann - she gave me a confirmation number, so hopefully that is cancelled too. What a pain. Hopefully this company can be shut down soon - thye are really pulling a fast one on everyone that orders from them.
