I sent for a free sample, for which I paid $4.95, after using it I called and cancelled any additional shipments and thought that it was the end of it. I noticed a charge fo $24.00 on my Visa this month for Ultra Life. When I checked with Visa I found that this was the 3rd month that I had been billed $24.00 for a monthly membership fee.
I called ULtra Life and said that I never joined anything and did not want to pay any charges. I was told that the money would not be returned and that the only way I could quit the club was to do it on/line at their webb site. What I have done is to call Visa and dispute the 3 charges and "resigned" from Ultra LIfe.
Nothing was ever said about a "membership" or monthly charges during my initial conversations with Ultra Life, this is a rip off.
