I attempted to order medication today online at www.urxpharmacy.com. As soon as my order was submitted, i got a confirmation email that stated i was now enrolled in a 30 day FREE trial membership to www.card33.com. Feeling that this was fishy, i called the customer service number on the bottom of the order summary page.
The connection was awful and i was put on hold. The connection cut off the first time, so i called back and spoke to someone named Alexander. It was hard to understand him since the connection kept cutting out. I cancelled the order and my membership, and he gave me a confirmation number of the cancel and later i got an email to confirm.
About 3 hrs later, i got another confirmation email for ANOTHER order. This time when i called the number (888-554-4227), i got a message saying that this number was unavailable - the same sort of message you'd get if you called a cell phone that was out of range.
So, i went online and found consumer complaints.com and found another phone number. (THANKS!) i spoke to someone named Brian and cancelled my order and membership again, and got a confirm number and email.
Then i called my bank and told them i may have fraudulent charges. They see two charges of $19.95 pending. If they aren't cleared off by card33, i will be filing a report with my bank and cancelling my card.
I hope that acting fast will prevent any further incident.
