In December I went to Dr. Cal Harrison for a simple filling. Although I had already been told by an out-of-network provider that it only needed a filling; I let Dr. Harrison talk me into a core build-up, a root canal, and a crown for my tooth. Dr. Harrison did not finish the procedure, instead he let an office worker (that was not even a legal dental assistant) finish. She caused such pain that I had to tell her to stop. She had broken the tooth off at the gum line. Dr. Harrison then tried to charge me for a post in which to attach the crown. I told him that it was his own negligence that caused it and I told him that he would pay for the post. Dr. Harrison put the post in and it got infected because he put it right through a nerve he was supposed to have gotten rid of earlier in a root canal that he had charged me for. The pain was horrible. To make a long story short -I winded up losing my tooth. I reported him to the board of dentistry and they found that he had done nothing wrong. I have since paid $950.00 (after insurance) to get a bridge in the front of my mouth.
