The Pharmacy techs at the Rohnert Park store on Commerce blvd and Expressway are so incredibly rude it's unbelievable! They act like they don't want to help us, they treat us like we're dirt. They seem prejudiced, and I don't know if it's due to the medication I take, which is a pain med, or if it's racial, possibly both, doesn't matter why. Marcy and Lisa are the worst! I brought in a prescription for additional pain meds because I had two teethe extracted that were killing me and after a trip to Urgent Care, the Doctor gave me 15 additional pills to make it through the weekend until I could see my doctor. Marcy somehow felt that I had gotten too many that month (only my second refill other than my normal dosage) and took it upon herself to call Urgent Care and tell them that she thought I was getting too many. They make me feel like a drug addict every time I go in an get my pain meds filled. I'm on disability for chronic pain due to an old work injury that will never get better, I'm a mother, and I do not drink or do any drugs other than those prescribed by my doctor. The result of her call was that Urgent Care cancelled my prescription which she gladly and with a condescending smile presented me with. How dare her presume that I don't need my meds. How dare her treat me as lesser than her. I catch them looking and laughing every time I come in with my monthly script and their unspoken attitude says it all. It's obvious the smiles they wait on me with are phony and that they disapprove. Their job is to to do what the doctor says, not judge the person because of the medication. I will never get my prescriptions filled there again. This is not the only issue I've had with the Safeway techs, it's just the one that broke this camels back! I'm sure they don't care about my meager business but I hope anyone reading this, who happens to take pain meds thinks twice about using safeway as they will judge you as they have me, I'm sure. This store is absolutely the worst customer service I have EVER experienced! There is no excuse for anyone to be treated as humiliating as they have treated me! The whole crew is horrible! I have complained to their "manager" as they say there is no one who is above them and there is no one to direct complaints to. So this is where I've come, hoping other will see and heed.
