My wife suffers from chronic pain and is managed by a pain clinic. For the past year, she's been getting her prescriptions refilled at Walgreen's Pharmacy. EVERY month my wife has to call and have the pharmacy fax a request to the Dr. For her refills, and EVERY month, Walgreen's refills her non-narcotic muscle relaxer, but DOESN'T refill her pain medication. My wife has to call her Dr. And then the Dr. Has to call Walgreen's to get her pain medicine refilled.
According to her Dr., this shouldn't be necessary. Her Dr. Told her that they fax BOTH prescriptions to the pharmacy at the same time and they should BOTH be filled. My wife has to take several other prescriptions for other health problems, and we are now changing pharmacies because of the pain in the arse that it is to refill that ONE prescription.
