I was, until today, a sales rep with this God-awful company. Like most other processors, they promise quality, twice-confirmed, pre-set appointments. Bullshit. You walk into the vast majority of their "appointments" and what you get is a merchant with a confused look on their face telling you that they never set any appointment. So like in their "training" video, you're supposed to call your manager who's supposed to play the "confirmation" call, which is recorded. All you hear is some poor telemarketer asking if the person on the phone is in fact the owner (yes) and if there business address is... (yes) followed by the person saying that they keep getting solicited and that they're NOT interested. Then they hang up.
They promise driving no more than 50 miles a day, but they have you driving WAY more than that, chasing your tail after these bulls* appointments that really aren't.
When a merchant demands that you leave, they fools expect you to stand your ground IN A MERCHANT'S BUSINESS while you call a manager, who usually puts you on hold while the merchant is blowing smoke out his nostrils. They fail to realize that in most jurisdictions, this is TRESPASS once you fail to leave after being told to do so. You can rest assured that they won't indemnify you financially or legally if the situation goes to s*. And when the DO get the merchant on the line, they berate them for not wanting to do business right on the spot, appointment or not.
If you're looking to get into this line of sales, DON'T. At least not with this company. They have a connection with Crescent Processing Company, which if you read the reviews, had many complaints and legal issues. The same people started Park Central under the same exact business structure and programs because they know CPC is in the process of being shut down. Read all the bad reviews online. This company is TERRIBLE.
