I cannot believe all the bad publicity that the Brick has gotten, and that they still remain open to con poor innocent people. Why doesnt anybody do anything about them, like maybe close them down. My friend and I both had horrible experiences with them. She had the wrong stove delivered to her and waited 47 days for them to deliver a stove that was not the one she had paid for, only to have them tell her that it was discontined... Bull... Myself, I bought a couch from a what I thought was a nice salesman, only to have it delivered by two lazy delivery men, who shouldnt be taking peoples money to do shit. They took the couch back to the store because they didnt want to carry it up the stairs, and told me I should purchase something smaller... Who the F$ do they think they are. Then when I called the store to tell them what happened, they said they would have it redelivered in two days. The next day someone calls me to tell me that my couch was sent back to Mississauga. I dont believe all the crap that these people dish out... They said it would be delivered the following Tuesday. I told them okay and I wanted it delivered right into my living room. The next day they call back again, and said that the delivery men refused to carry it up the steps, and if I wanted a refund, to come to the store. I go to the store, and because the debit card that paid for the couch was my sisters, they said that they could not refund it to mine... When do they stop with the bullshit... I have done that many times at futureshop and sports experts, and they can refund it to any debit card, as that is like cash... I told them exactly what I thought of them and told a customer standing beside me to not purchase anything from these con artists, and they thought that was funny... But I happen to know somebody that worked for them for 25 years, and they actually train their employees to lie... Bottom line is that they said it would take two weeks to write me a cheque for refund... They havent heard the last from me, I would really like to make an example of them. I worked ten years in the national defense in ottawa, and never dealt with such stupidity as with the Brick. Why are they allowed to stay in business??? Close the b$#%$% down...
