Sucks, fonality phone system

Do not buy a fonality IPO. This company is horrible. They are only in it to cash out on an IPO.

1. They are incompetent and have horrible processes. AS AN EXAMPLE: I called in a 7:30AM Eastern Time thinking that maybe their customer support was open (I was a new customer and didn't know their hours.) Their phone system never told me they were closed.instead, the phone system told me to wait for a customer service representative. I waited thinking I was getting a person. The music would pause every few minutes and tell me that I would be connected soon.

After 30 minutes, I hung up. When I finally reached someone later that morning, I learned they didn't open until 8:30. This phone company doesn't even know how to setup their call queue!

2. Their VOIP phone quality is horrible. I tried to setup one of my employees on their phone system. The voice qaulity was horrible. There was a loud, nasty background noise on the phone. My employee and I spent hours on the phone and no one at Fonality could fix it. It wasn't our hardware, because my employee was able to make calls just fine using Skype's phone number option.

It's hard to believe that a professional company would have lousier phone quality than skype! After all, skype is for personal use compared to business use.

3. Their systems are flawed. I ordered an internet only phone from them. That requires a license number. On the first internet phone I ordered they forgot to send me the license key. I had to spend 30 minutes waiting for customer support to get the license key. On the second internet phone order, they sent it to me in an excel sheet with the user name and password.

The excel file was a csv file, which means that each cell opens with only 8 pixels wide. I didn't see the license key and that column was labeled "reg key." so I call support again and wait for 10 minutes. The support person explains that I received the license key. I look at the email again and don't see it. He finally explains that the "reg key" is the license key, like I was stupid to not know that.

But, I don't work there and I'm not a genius. You know this problem comes up all the time. But, rather than fix the problem they just leave it. A lot of their systems are flawed just like this. Yet, they don't care to fix the problems.
