Back on Jan 28 I had a meeting with my manager to discuss some issues and I informed him that I was filing a grievance with the EEOC alleging racial discrimination based on his preferential treatment of the two black workers there.in addition, I also informed him of the teasing and sexual harassment by all co-workers, RSA's, who made comments about my personal anatomy. When I gave my manager a couple of scenarios where the mis-treatment began, I was told by him to 'don't tell me how to do my job'.
There is ton's more to this story, and it's filed with the EEOC, but wouldn't you just know it, two weeks after this meeting with my manager, all of a sudden, these allegations and accusations come up from all the co-workers about me mistreating them. Mind you that i've never been written up nor reprimanded for my behavior at any time in the 2 1/2 years I worked there. 30 days later, I'm discharged after their 'investigation' into the co-workers allegations, but funny that he, nor his superior nor anyone in HR wanted to investigate my complaint.
So now the long period begins waiting for the EEOC investigation to complete and then based upon their findings either to drop it or pursue it legally.
