Ripoff 3 broken phones and wants me to pay $320 restocking fee or resign 1 year $160

Bottom line T-mobile ripped me off.

I've had 3 T68i T-mobile phones break on me. The last one *came* broken! I didn't send the original one back because the old one worked at least *part* of the time.

I call them and after going between 3-4 reps and 45 minutes on hold they finally go through the very familiar procedure of a return. This time however they were having me return both phones on receipt of the replacement.

I go on vacation 1 week later for 1 week and come back... Still no box. I finally call back only to find out they have *NO* record of the phone swap! 1 day later I'm changed $320 for the phone not returned.

I then try their internet support. I thought perhaps they would read and understand the issue better.

I explain the situation and they seem very willing to help. They finally state that they will accept the two phones back and we'll worry about the credit once they get the phones.

I reply back saying that we'll talk about the refund of the charges FIRST.

Today I get a note saying they will refund 50% of the restocking fee if I return both phones AND *sign* another 1 year contract with them (I'm not under contract right now).

So they send me a broken phone "lose" record of my swap and then try to say I only get 50% of the money back *IF* i sign another 1 year contract?

I told them that I'll pay my bill without the phone charges, end my contract and my wife's send my story to the BBB AG and this site and let others decide who owes what.

Unbelievable!
