Never honored their $100 rebate offer Santa Clara

I purchase wireless switch/firewall from a local supplier over a year ago. I mailed in all the requested information including proof of purchase, UPC code and special label requested. I waited for months and nothing arrived. I called their rebate line and was advised that I didn't send in the original invoice which I indeed did do.

I then requested a duplicate paid invoice from the local supplier to resend to 3Com which I did. Then I waited a few months again, still nothing. I called them in July asking them where the rebate was and they said they had received all required information and my rebate would be in the mail after August 12. Well I'm still waiting.

I've given up trying to get the rebate since its costing more for long distance calls than the rebate is worth. So, if you're expecting to get a rebate on a purchase from 3Com, you will probably be left as disappointed as I was.
