Around the first of January we signed up for DirectTV because of the special offer to hook-up for free. The catch is that you have to send in the required information to get your hook-up fee of $99.99 back as a rebate offer. Mailed our forms in around January 14 and as of June 18 and many phone calls later, we still have not received our rebate.

At first they tell us they will put a rush on it, this was in March. Then in April they tell us they have upped the status to Urgent.in May we were reclassified to critical. Sounds like we are in the hospital and about to meet the almighty. Our rebate was to have been mailed around June 9 and as of June 18 no rebate. We would have never hooked up to DirectTV had this offer not been advertised on our local stations in January. Now we are hooked into a 2 year contract and it does not appear that we will ever see our rebate.
