In July 2nd, I purchased a Zonet 2-port KVM switch from www.buy.com that advertised this product has $25 rebate. About two weeks later, I moved to a new address. So when I filled rebate form, I just put my new address on.
Almost two months passed, I never got any rebate status information from Zonet-Rebate-Center. So I emailed to them and inquired my rebate status (They don't have any phone# for rebate tracking). After several email inquiries, they replied ADDRESS ON REBATE FORM MISMATCH WITH SALES INVOICE. They rejected my rebate. But I think I have right to move even I buy something with rebate.
Their terms state REBATES PAID TO THE ORIGINAL ADDRESS LISTED ON THE RECEIPT ONLY. Actually, I agree they pay rebate check to my original address, if they want. Terms doesn't say mismatch of address will cause rebate rejected. I think I didn't break any articles on the terms and conditions.
