SGH-T749 Highlight Wireless Phone

I changed cell phone carriers in Feb. 2010 and successfully unlocked the phone at that time. After one month I started to receive "error code" messages that read "112 161 1611".
I have sent the phone back to Samsung for repair of this defect 4 times and the defect has not been repaired. The last time I sent the phone to Samsung they relocked the phone and now it cannot be unlocked.
The phone never worked properly from the day I purchased it. Low signal strength and I never had clear connections no matter where the phone was used. Now the problem is compounded with the error messages and now it is totally useless being locked.
All Samsung has offered to do is have me send the phone back in.
This is abuse. This phone has been and is defective and Samsung will not replace the defective phone.
Their policy on insisting that customers go through a lengthy and useless "maze" of customer service levels is frustrating and does not solve the problem.
I cannot recommend that anyone buy Samsung products. This has been a very frustrating experience and I have been offered no other options by Samsung except to continue to re-send the phone back to them with no guarantee they can repair the phone!
