My laptop broke down after only 10 months of use. It was under warranty so i called toshiba and was told to take it to a local service center nexicore for repair which i did on feb 5 and was told the repair should take around 2 weeks which is better then the 3 weeks time it would take for toshiba to fix directly. I needed a new mother board and now toshiba says the mother parts are back ordered and will not come in to the end of april. I am not working and use the computer for my job search every day and i should not have to wait 3 months for a part for a computer under warranty. They would not even send me a loaner and they will not replace it even if though they said they cannot get parts for a few months, this is insane. I could order the part and pay for it my self for 300 dollars but i cannot afford it. Why cannot toshiba send a part so it can be fixed when i can get one from other places on the net. I was told that toshiba does this to everyone under warranty and never sends parts in the hope people end up paying for the parts them selves. Having no money and not working i was hoping they could help me out with at least a loaner or a new lap top if they cannot fix it. They refuse to help and say i need to wait to the end of april to get a part. Please help
