Problem: I moved into a condo that was renovated in 2007. Fridge is 2 years old, but brand new (never used). We moved in one month ago and found out that it freezes everything. Supposedly the problem parts were covered under warranty, but 3-4 trips out later by mechanics from GE and almost all replaceable parts replaced - and still broken! Husband had to take off 3 separate days because they will only schedule in 4 hour block 'windows'- and kept reassuring us it was 'fixable' so we were accomodating. Now they want us to pay $787.64 for a new fridge plus delivery costs. Yikes! I will obviously not be doing this... And if forced to buy a new fridge I won't be getting a GE!
