Towards the latter half of May, my ipod classic began to malfunction. I had taken the ipod to an Apple store, and they told me the hard drive was dead, requiring $130 for a new hard drive. Rather than pay for the repair and to get a 2nd opinion, I submitted my payment for an ipod diagnostic test for my 6th generation, 80gb ipod classic (silver.)
I followed ifixipodsfast.com shipping instructions, including a delivery confirmation that I received. Since receiving the confirmation I have e-mailed the support e-mail address twice, the only form of communication available, and never received a response.
I believe ifixipodsfast.com is a fraudelent company, stealing ipods and possibly reselling the components.
