I have read alot of reports online about how much of a rip off and uncaring customer service center Brighthouse cable has. I recently had an experience with the company that made me very unappealled to give them anymore of my money for service. I was paying over $102.00 for service with this company since 2007. All i had was digital cable and internet. I DIDN"T EVEN HAVE ANY PREMIUM CHANNELS AND I WAS PAYING THIS MUCH! Well, i found out that my mother-in-law had the same service as me and she was paying approx. $30.00 less than i was paying!!! So i had called and told the "Supervisor" (if thats what they call these people now a days because they handle issues like they've never had customer service or relations training in they're life!!!) OMG!!! After stating my case, i could not believe how difficult it was to bring my cable bill down when they themselves, even after pulling up my mother-in-laws cable bill, saw the big differences in the prices we were both paying! They're exscuse was that she signed on under a different promotion??? I told them that i don't give a crap about that. What i care about is that i'm getting stiffed and you're hitting me in my pocket harder, for more money, when we both have the same service. I mean, what's fair is fair i told them! If people are out there paying 70 to 75 dollars a month for a service that i've been paying over 100.00 for, for the past 2 and a half years... Yeah, i'd see a problem with that buddy!!! The cable company is very difficult to deal with. They always think that you owe them something (usually money... Of course) and it's a shame now a days that everything has to resort to an exhausting argument or a stern conversation if that, for the customers, even when they are legitimately correct!
