My DCS stove quit working in October. Repairman & company finally determined that stove could not be repaired and so advised GE Warranty late November. I have had such a horrible time with General Electric Warranty. First the claim was under review, then approved, then denied, then they agreed to send a check for $4729.00. There is no dealer in my area who will replace my stove for that amount, by the way. The service center says check was mailed out 1/23/09. Today is Feb. 5. Still no check. One rep told me check was mailed to a different address then mine. Supervisor denies this. Supevisor said that she will request that a new check be sent. This has been a horrid experience. I have not been dealt with honestly nor taken seriously. What a bunch. Meanwhile I still have no stove and no confidence that I will receive anything.
